# Player Commands

These commands may be run by anyone. However, if you would like to execute them on behalf of another player, you will be required to have an Echo Role to do so.

## Basic Setup

The way you can tell the bot which ally code is yours is through the [register command](https://docs.echobase.app/echostation/player-commands/register). This is required for most bot functionality. You can always use the [status command](https://docs.echobase.app/echostation/player-commands/status) to see if everything was set up correctly.
